A True Golden Hour (Or Minute)

Tree at Sunrise

Today's post is brief, but it captures an moment that only a photograph can describe.

The Sun splitting through low hanging clouds illuminates this tree in a neighbors yard, transforming an otherwise ordinary scene into something extraordinary. The tree, still covered with early spring blooms reflects that harsh golden light that only a sunrise can produce. Each petal glows as if they are lit from within. Contrasting this warmth, the clouds above, with their cool gray tones, take on a subtle purple hue, adding a layer of cool serenity to the scene. After three days of continuous rain, a morning sunrise was a welcome site for this weary photographer.
